How To Apply For A PTE Exam In Malaysia?

Step 1: Visit Pearson PTE’s official website and sign in to your account. If you don’t have one, register for a new account by hitting Create Account and filling in all the required information. 

After 1-2 days, Pearson will send you a confirmation email, including your username and password. This is a mandatory step because you will receive the PTE score report via this account.

Step 2: After logging in, choose Book a Test in the top right corner. In the new pop-up window, select the country you want to go and what you want to do there. While you can skip this step, it will help Pearson suggest the right PTE type for you.

Step 3: Now, click on Check Availability & Book and enter the location where you want to take the test. The result will display all the available centers there, along with the date and time. Select the test date that is the most convenient for you. 

Step 4: Fill all the required personal information and pay the test fee. Once you are done with the payment, you will get a receipt with the test details.

What Is The PTE Fee In Malaysia?

1. Registration fee: You will have to pay RM750 MYR to take a PTE test in Malaysia.
2. Cancellation fee: Let’s say you have no choice but to cancel the test. If you cancel it 14 days or more before the test date, you can get a full refund of RM750 MYR. If you request a cancellation at least 7 days before the designated date, you are eligible for a 50% refund. When you announce the cancellation in less than 7 days, you’ll lose the test fee.
3. Rescheduling fee: You can change the test date for free if you request it at least 14 days in advance. For those rescheduling the test 13 to 7 days beforehand, expect to pay 50% of the registration fee. Rescheduling your test less than 7 days before the designated date costs you 100% of the fee.
