Pearson has announced the fees for Indian PTE test takers in 2024. There are many types of PTE exams, and the prices will vary depending on the test you take. However, it remains unchanged regardless of the PTE exam dates in India.

  • PTE Academic: 17,000 INR, including taxes. If you plan to study abroad for a degree or higher, this type is right for you.
  • PTE Academic Online: 17,000 INR, including taxes. This test is an academic one, but you can take the online test anywhere.
  • PTE Academic UKVI: 17,000 INR with taxes included. With this certificate, you can work and pursue below-degree study in the UK.
  • PTE Home A1: 14,435 INR with taxes. You can take this test to apply for work and family visas in the UK. 
  • PTE Home A2: 14,435 INR, including taxes. It allows you to extend the visa achieved from the A1 test.
  • PTE Home B1: 14,435 INR with taxes. With a PTE Home B1, you can apply for citizenship and long-term settlement in the UK.

Cancellation Fees

For any reason, if you decide to cancel your booking, you should notice some points below:

  • From 14 days before the test date: You will get a full refund for your cancellation.
  • From the 13th day to the 7th day before the test date: You will receive half of the paid fee for your cancellation.
  • Less than 7 days before the test date: You will get no refund for your cancellation.

Reschedule Fees

The rescheduled fees are applied with the same rules as the cancellation fees:

  • From 14 days in advance: No fee is charged
  • From 13 to 7 days before the test date: 50% of the fee
  • Less than 7 days before the exam date: 100% of the fee

Score Review Fees

Sometimes, you may not be satisfied with your PTE test result. However, you can opt for a score review within 14 days of getting the results. 

The fee for a PTE score review will cost about 8,300 INR. You will get a total refund of the fee if the reviewed score is higher than your initial one. 

Late Registration Fee

You can book a PTE test within 48 hours before the test starts, but you must pay a small late booking fee. The extra charge will vary depending on the number of countdown hours to the test date.

  • Carefully planning: This helps avoid the late booking fee and allows you to prepare for the best results. Moreover, try to minimize the possibility of canceling or rescheduling the test.
  • Discounts or promotions: You can look for discounts or promotions provided by your universities, institutions, or schools or on the PTE official websites. 
  • Voucher: Don’t miss the chance to significantly reduce the PTE fees by using a PTE voucher in India. To get PTE vouchers, visit the Pearson PTE website. 
  • Choose the nearest center: A distant test center may put pressure on your budget for a PTE test. Apart from the test fees, you must pay for transportation, lodging, and meals. For this reason, finding the closest center to your location will be a wise choice.
